Bl**dy car... Driving home this evening, started fine, first time, pulled away, got about half a mile along road and it just died, like fuel starvation except it was on gas at the time, pulled over, switched back to petrol, wouldn't fire at all, kept cranking it with foot to the floor and it slowly picked up, fired and away it went, a mile up the road, it did it again only this time it wouldn't start again, eventually the battery gave up, got the wife to come out and jump start me and it did the same as before, what the hell should i be looking for....
No eml/emissions light, no clues at all... Dis Pack???
-
crank sensor most definately :y
-
wouldn't i get an eml for that?
-
Not always in the initial stages especially...
-
ooooh... bl**dy vauxhalls...
Thats definitely crank as opposed to cam sensor is it?
-
cam sensor gives an eml light, crank more often than not doesnt give a light.
remember, buy a genuine one, not cheap fleabay rubbish, or you wil be changing it again in a week or so.
