Looking for a good quality spring for the Mv6, im after 40mm lowering and a good all round firm feeling.
Ive used cheap Spings before and always found a diffrence in handeling.
What Lowering Spings do you use and how do they feel?
Please if you could can i see Pics also .
Also one more thing, ile be wanting 4 wheel Alignment, where would you recomend in the Midlands?
Thanks in Advance fella's :)

40mm is quite a drop. Remember also that RWD doesn't need to be quite so stiff as FWD to get the power down, so more scope for a better compromise between handling and comfort.

Would you think 35 will be better then?
Ive made my mind up im going to keep the standered Mv6 wheels and have them Refurbed in the summer, so because im keeping them i would like to fill the Arches a little more to make them look better.
Im also looking for Comfort on this aswell, i used Spax on my Corsa then to Apex and i found the ride was alot firmer yet comfortable and not knocking my teeth out!
Also i need to get rid of the Boatie ness the Mig as altho i belive the MV6 suspension is stiffer than the normal Suspension i want it stiffer ! :)

My Plans before Summer and PVS are.
Lowered
4x Toyo Proxes (a mate works at local Tyre Center and can get 235/45/17 for 70 quid each.)
All 4 or at least 2 wheels refurbed!
Also the Full wheel alignment!

Will there be anything i need to know before lowering my Mig 40mm ?

Dropped about 30mm on Eibach springs, I would not want to go lower, still rides well, a lot tighter on bends.
Allignment Wheels-In-Motion of course at Chesham - call in and see TB on the way or way back

Rear ride height is 5mm lower than broken standard springs ;D

Can i see a Pic of yours on the said Suspension please Martin ? :)

Anymore than 30mm is really too big a drop for standard shocks to work properly. I'd go for Eibachs personally over Apex. Should work well with the slightly stiffer MV6 shocks.
If you really want to improve the handling of the car then you should look at a matched set of shocks and springs.
I'd look at the B12 kit with the H&R springs from Bilstein in the first instance - won't get better this side of Coilovers. KW also make good produtcs too.
