Title: How to : lowering my mig 2.0 '98
Post by: Sylvester on 03 March 2009, 12:23:02
Hi
I was looking for lowering springs for my mig.
Found cheap one: http://www.carperformanceuk.co.uk/omega-b-20-25-25td-suspension-lowering-springs-c-864-p-1-pr-18527.html
Can someone tell my if this is ok? and how difficult is it to do it myself?

I would

a) phone them to make sure they have them in stock and at that price, seem a bit too cheap

b) confirm they do fit the 4pot, as a 2.5td engine is alot heavier than a 2.0, so no way can the same springs fit both cars.

cheers

I would have agreed with vauxfan2k, however Parker's states the following:

2.0 Petrol 16v GLS Saloon - 1595kg
2.5 Petrol 24v GLS Saloon - 1675kg
2.5 Diesel 12v GLS Saloon - 1574kg

So, it seems that the TD is the lightest? :o
