Title: fuel line replacement

got an advice on the MOT today regarding fuel lines corroded, the tester says they have got special ends that clip onto the plastic pipes at either end, are these a vx only part & if so any idea on price & part numbers? also are they the same for diesel & petrol engines,,,TIA ;)

ask at any good well known parts factors they should stock them to most garages :y

I thought that the fuel lines were made of blue plastic tubing - so how can corrosion be an issue?

True, there are connectors, and the complete system is available from the stealers - I've seen the parts diagrams there.
Not sure of price though.

i dont know if its because my one is an older model but definately metal pipes, just trying to find out the bore of it so i can replace with plastic as its cheaper & dont rot, at least it was only an advice thing on the MOT so got some time to sort it :y

Fuel hoses were all plastic as of model year 1997  :y
