Title: Nm to lb/ft Conversion
Post by: Mikejr on 06 March 2009, 12:32:52
Often see the torque figure of 8Nm mentioned when tightening cam covers etc.

Forgive my ignorance (being an oldie)  :( but is this equivalent to approx. 1.8 lbs/ft?

If not what is the equivalent?

Many thanks HerefordElite.  :y

Thought my 1.8 lbs/ft was too low as that's hardly finger tight. Guess I will also need to purchase a new torque wrench so thanks for the pointer as well.
