hi lads was thinkin of chipping my 3.2 ,are those chips on ebay too good to be true?or for that matter will any chip make any real difference?cheers in advance
-
To be honest NO it wont not really. May give you 5-10bhp if that. If you want to you could get a remap config. I had one for my 2.0ltr gave it a bit of omph but not alot acceleration was abit quicker but that was it.

Dont think 3.2 can be done
-
erm....You can't chip a 3.2, only remap.
Its the 3.0's (and maybe 2.5's) you can chip

Don't apologise!
Its a fair question!
on a 3.0 It DOES make a difference, enhanced performance for about the same fuel, or enhanced economy if you drive the same.
They are my approx findings anyway.

my chip made no difference ! no improvements on the RR figures were obtained!
i had a collins chip though
3.2 problably requires Angel tunning (Flashing) easier to do and problably cheaper

Superchips quote about an 8bhp increase, IIRC.
