Title: Westminster Council
Post by: Markjay on 16 November 2007, 16:24:42
Westminster Council is a Considerate Employer. Dustmen should not have to wake up too early in the morning, and should be done in time for a hearty breakfast. the ideal time for them to collect the rubbish is between 08:00am and 09:00am, preferably on narrow roads that lead to the local school. Not like these barbaric European countries where dustmen are forced to start work at - God forbid - 6:00am!

Too true, about time they found out what those lumpy things are for on the end of their legs. Leave the roads to those of us who have a clue how to use them properly.

Not all women are rubbish drivers, in fact they are the safest drivers on the roads, see any insurance poll ever done, there are just as many male idiots on the roads, i think we all give women a bad deal when it comes to driving, Mrs Miggy is a good driver, i would say she is better than me.

I trust she pays more attention to her driving than what the kids in the back are doing, unlike many on the school run.

'...Her husband earns around £90,000 a year as a heating engineer, so the couple will be able to afford to pay for rubbish collection. But Mrs Smith said: "It seems the Government are trying to make things difficult for families. This will be just the start. Taxes will just keep going up." '
