There were also a couple of Police cars (5-Series BMWs) in the convoy and a dark blue Range Rover... and the motorbike copper was quite aggressive.

I believe the SVO Omegas have been replaced now, Home Secretary has definately been using a Jag for the last few weeks with an Audi (A6 I think) estate backup car.

Think the Special Escort Group are tooled with Glocks....

Gordon Brown needs all the protection he can get.......not a very liked man on the whole. I dont think anybody likes an un-elected prime minister.

I preferred the S&W...  Cut my teeth on the .38 initially, managed to perfect speedloaders, then enjoyed the reassurance of a clip with more than 6 in it....

Aye, Messers Smith and Wesson make good revolvers, and at any rate it is a big improvement over the old and trusty Webley .38... but perhaps we should stop here before the Yard take-up interest in out humble site  ;D

Lots of them used to be around from the war, but few working ones survived after the 1999 pistol ban. I suppose some have been deactivated by owners and kept as souvenirs though...
