Title: 2.5v6 Not starting??

To cut a long story short i have just bought a FACELIFT V reg 2.5 v6 auto ELITE.
When i went to collect it the guy had lost the key so i got a new 1 outa my local dealer and it went down this morning to get all programed to the car.
The car wont start tho have have had it back to my dealer and they say theres no trouble codes. so i took the starter out and got it tested and its fine.

Any ideas what to look for????
Have checked all the fuses and they seem fine.
the guy i got it off says it hasnt moved for at least 8 months but assures me it was going when put off the road.
any info would be most welcome

is the Engine light flashing when the ignition circuit is on??????

is the engine actually cranking etc

could be starter relay or ign switch. if your not sure what you are doing then get an auto sparky to have look for you

No theres no trouble codes at all. as for the trarter relay and ign switch how do i check those?

no its not cranking or making any noise for that matter

check the battery connections particually the earth strap and as stated the ignition switch & relay
