Title: Exploded View Air Con.

Hi. Having a bit of trouble with air con, on my 2.2 cdx dti 2001. :'( There is no air being blown to the passenger foot well. Mate has had a look and thinks there is a flap missing. If I can get hold of an exploded view I may be able to get somewhere with it. I don't have a workshop manual, cant seem to find one. Has any body else had this trouble and been able to fix it? Only had this car a week and already I am having to fix the central locking, air con. Passenger seat wont go up or down. wonder what's next.

diferent problem but on mine i had just cold air to the passenger side it was a little metel clip that pulled on a flap to ajust the temp but mine has climate control as for the seat i had the same problem somthing on here someware as thats how i sorted mine someone will helpm soon with the blower

Andy, you real cant face the fact that the Senator has had its day, I personaly am yet to see one with working fan speed controls let alone aircon etc!!  ;D

Anyway, this poster is facing the fact that any car is only as good as its last owner.

If we are indeed talking about air direction and not temp then its time to focus on the under bonnet vac pipes...adn try to find which ones some monkey has breaked up!

I could find you loads on the ABS with working R134a a/c  ;D
but mine didn't work as I wasn't prepared to spend on converting from R12 ::)  :y
Duff fan controller? I think you must be thinking Monza or Senator A .....  :-?  ;)  ;)

I don't think the Senator has had it'd day. I have had no prob's with mine since I have owned it (nearly Three years) everything works except aircon. I have had this Omega a week and hitting trouble already. Can't get no air to passenger footwell (hot or cold) central locking has thrown the towel in. and passenger seat wont go up or down , and now the driver seat heater has packed in, I will probably be able to sort the seat troubles, and central locking. (waiting for parts from Markey Mark) but I need help with A/C.  break me Something else has just gone tit's up. its the alarm. I  :'( :'(  If I could get a workshop manual it may help.
