Title: Worn Wishbones !
Post by: Richard A on 14 March 2009, 17:53:10
Both front tyres are worn on there outside edges, is this a typical characteristic of worn wishbones, ie along with the bangs and crashes from the front suspension on any type of broken road surface.
p.s. this is not just a tracking problem.

Hello Timbuk, thanks for your answer, insides you say, oh sh1t !
I have a 'to buy' list for the mot in April, pair of wishbones, pair of drop links, one steering idler, total about £80 plus fixing.
Maybe I should check the track, ah' but it will be out after parts are fitted  :-/ :-/

check the alignment after the wishbones they play a vital part in the alignment and when there duffed they cause the tyre wear

i took mine to WIM after i had the bushes wishbones done and all i needed adjusting was the Rear Toe and the camber to Tony's special figure ;D
