Thinking its cam cover gaskets yet again. Its been leaking for over a month now but not so bad as before. But looks like its getting worse. Aint had chance to pull plugs out to check. Not been long since had them done. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Were the breathers cleaned PROPERLY when the cam cover gaskets were done ???
If not .. thats the reason they've failed again ... and they will continue to fail as long as the breathers are not cleaned proerly and regularly .. :(

yes mate. loo-knee did them not long ago really. :y

Could be the gaskets have shrunk and/or hardened. There's a lot of junk out there at the moment.
I bought a set from a reputable source which set like concrete in six months.
Only cure for me was a set of metal covers off a Vectra which cost me £50 but worth every penny.

Ado mate. No not sure but drips are coming from exactly same place. Not checked plug wells
-
Rather weird though. Is it above the exhaust manifold?

Aint that a bad move as if breathers block it will cause oil to escape somewhere else. Did read somewhere that it was a more difficult fix than cam covers

I did my cam covers some weeks ago and I wondered cleaning the breathers but I simply could see nothing to clean! Inside of plenum was clear, only covered with oil, which I washed away, no crud no nothing in the hoses, nor in breather bridge. Since these were so clean, I did not remove the hoses from the breather box in the back of the engine (one reason was that the acces was/is very limited...) Did I do a good or bad decision not to remove the hoses from box? Any idea why there was nothing to clean? It's done almost 200 000 kilometres so I'd imagine there would have been something...
