Title: Idleing at 2000rpm
Post by: djdaveyp85 on 17 March 2009, 13:25:00
I have noticed for the last couple of days that my miggy is idleing at just under 2000 rpm when its warm. I phoned vx today because i assumed it would be the ICV, but they told me mine doesn't have one. DOes anybody have any ideas how to sort this out?

Check for any air leaks if not may need to have tech 2 connected to it to find out the problem. And yours is DBW.

is the throttle body all nice & clean?, only a friend of mine has got a daewoo [yuk] & his was caused by the butterfly not closing properly due to crap, also check vac pipes for leakage, i dont have a petrol myself so there might be something else that others will point you to.
