Trying to organise a bit of a bash for my mothers 100th birthday.
Book a venue and catering.
Contact the Lord Mayor (3 months notice).
Telegram from the Queen (1 months notice).
Contact all of her relatives.
Organise transport for some of her friends who are in their 90's.
Don't think we'll give her the bumps though ;)

Congrats to Mum AA :y :)
It was a big chain Hotel's 80th Birthday last week.....the local one to me had a b/d party and invited a load of 80yo's to the party......they used taxi's to get them to the Hotel and home again.....
Just a thought AA.....you could do the same.....BUT if you do....ask the firm for patient/considerate drivers :y

She used to attend a day centre at a local church until a couple of months ago, they use a local firm with a mini bus for disabled access to collect them all, will use them I think.

I don't suppose 'When I'm 64' would be very appropriate. ;D
Amazing to think that your mum was 10 when the 1st World War ended and 37 when the 2nd World War ended. She has seen one hell of a lot during her life time. Good luck to her, I truly hope that she enjoys her birthday. :y
