Title: Cam position when removing head?

Looking for some technical info from anyone who has removed one of the Omega Heads before.

Anyway I've got a water leak coming from the side of the block on my drivers side head, I've added a dye to my coolant to find the leak and its definitely coming from the HG.

Anyway I have all the bits I need to remove it and I've got my paynes manual for instructions. I know that the exhaust cam has to be removed before I can access all the head bolts.

The Haynes manual says the engine should be 60^o BTDC so that none of the valves are being pressed and the cam bearings (?) are not gonna be put under strain when unscrewing the bolts keeping them in position.

I also found out that I need to remove all four cam sprockets to remove the rear timing belt cover.

So my questions,  how do you make sure you cams don’t move when you remove the sprockets and where is 60^o BTDC in relation to TDC?
