Title: has anyone else noticed?
Post by: brett1408 on 18 November 2007, 12:44:42
is it just me or does the cold air make a big difference to the performance of an omega? i know all about cold air being more dense and all that but i thought that was just for rs turbo's and such like, thursday night it got down to minus 3 here and the improvement was very obvious, better acceleration and throttle response, if anyone knows leamington at all i got 1*0 mph between the roundabouts on europa way, which is very good going! and that was'nt in sports mode. it really seems to love the very cold maybe it's something to do with the re-map?  also the self levelling rear suspension decided to have a strop the other day ( bloody speed bumps! ), the drivers side rear went rock hard and the car sat lop-sided, i rang around our usual parts suppliers for prices on shocks assuming the o/s one had gone but no one does them, so before ringing drive vauxhall i put it on our ramp and had a good look, turns out its the actuator arm sticking so with a bit of lube and a heat gun everythings fine again!  finally got the date through for the omega's vic check, its on the 27th in brum so here's hoping!!!
