Does anyone have the part number for the EGR for a Z22XE engine, (2002 model) please.

9198821 and is the same as used on the 2.5 and 3.0 V6
Not cheap and hence a clean it job!

This also means that you can blank it of in the same way as the V6 :y

A colleague who works for a Vx parts dealership mentioned that the mechanics could disable it for a zafira 2001 MY, is that a possibility for our omegas.
As far as blanking it off goes, does the ECU still expect it to 'do something' when asked to and if it doesn't respond in a timely fashion would it still log an error?

No, the Zafira uses a different power plant
It will expect the feedback but, it will prove if its the issue related to your miss fire etc
A clean up will fix the whole setup

Thank you ever so much for that. I believe one of those oven cleaning bags is the way to go so i'll be getting one of those and blanking it off for when i put it all back together.
