had new pads all round, but peddle travel seems too far and feels spongey . does my brakes need bleeding again ?
-
probably, esp if the pads are now bedded in.
When you say "again" what do you mean exactly?
-
i am assuming they were bled when pads were fitted
-
They may have inverted the master brake cyliner seal if they didnt open the bleed nipple when pushing the pistons back in.
Can sometimes be fixed by hitting the cylinder with a mallet as a friend releases the brake pedal.
-
many thanks i will try that

We have the same problem with my Omega 2002 3.2 V6 and replacing the Master Brake rubber do the Job and now my car brakes efficiently. If you cant find a replacement repair kit , replace the whole Master Brake.
