I know not many people on here are MG/Rover fans but you've got to admit this is georgeous

Saw JC test one of these on Top Gear (can't remember which series but not the last one) - damn quick and great looking.
-
Have to say it is not my thing at all. Give me a Monaro instead. 8-)
-
Gotta admit, stylewise, that MG doesn't float my boat, neither does the Monaro...
-
Shame it was 'still born' and they never got round to making the full 900bhp nos version.
Rare as rocking horse poo, think only a handfull made it on the road

Just been reading how poor old Irmscherkris is getting 22mpg from his diesel omega. The official fuel figures for the MG SV-R( 4996cc and 380bhp) is 20mpg ::)
Apparently not so frugal on nitrous ;D
Oh, yes, and you can pick a 2004 one up for a mere £46640. Bargain!

I know a prototype went for £6000 at auction not long ago although it was missing its engine and box I think it was a yankie V8 which should be quite easy to get hold of

I love my wifes 25 diesel. I have upped the boost and am going to remove the innards from the cat and fit an ITG air filter. There is a bloke on the MG/Rover forum that is testing a chip that will give a BHP hike to 145BHP and all that in a car that weighs about as much as a Jay cloth has got to be fun ;)
