Title: Pre face lift donor for facelift

I'm planning if its possible to tranfer the following from a pre facelift S REG MV6 into a Facelift V6 CDX W REG

The key question is it possible ???

3.0 engine and box

MV6 front/rear seats only

full front/rear suspension

Should all be fine mate...

If your getting the ECU with it, make sure you get the security code...just in case you need it later :y

why not just fit the 3.0 cams to your 2.5 for an extra 18bhp and a lot less hassle.

(obviously it's not legal  ::) but i certainly wouldn't bother telling my insurance company about different cams ;))

I have also thought about this option but have had conflicting advice based around

The uprated cams produce around 10bhp on their own in a 2.5

To run these properly on a 2.5 you will also need a freeflow exhaust, performance  air filter a re mapped ecu etc etc

I'm a novice to the V6 and take on board any advice given... the above information was forwarded from someone off another forum i would like to add and not this one  :y
