My cd unit (NCDC 2013) keeps saying it there are no discs in the changer. I have changed the discs and still get the same error message. Is there a reset code I can enter that will sort of restart or reset it?

If you press the CD button on the unit it will tell you there is no music CD. This button only operates the single slot CD. Press the CDC button (below the drawer eject button) and this should select the cd's in the changer.
Hope this helps.

Thanks HI2DVY, when I load the cartridge it goes through all the discs and then says "No discs". I press the CDC button and theres no change. Perhaps the laser is knackered. Its a 2001 model 81,000 miles, thought it would last a bit longer than that.

The security on that unit is in the pairing with the screen, so no.
Post in the ice section and im sure Dave dnd will help further. You could try resetting by pressing clear for more than 6 seconds then release the button, but its not likely to help if the mechanism.
if you have a nav disc in, it wont see it as a cd, you need the cdc button next to the changer or scrole through with the steering wheel buttons.(wel ya never know)

I have exactly the same thing in mine ... used to see all 4 discs then 2... then one ... now none....
Is this a dirty laser or is there a reset that can be done?
