Title: Fan Belt

Can anyone help me with the part No. for fan belt and also let me know the cost. Mine gave up this morning. Had a squeaky noise from yesterday.

Bought one yesterday myself from Sutton Auto Factors. Its a contitech one. Part number i think its 6 PK 2020. Cost me £19 plus vat.

Price veries widely depending on where you buy from (as will shipping to your location) but make sure it is a genuine GM part and also a new tesioner is probably a good idea at the same time.

 :-/  :-/  :-/  :-/ There's no problems with mine after 10 years & 155000 miles. The bearing was treated to a smidgen of grease though when I last had the belt off.

Andy i guess you still with the Vaux shop. I have done 160K. But not done any major servicing. Bought vehicle two yars ago.

omegas belt tensioner seems to be reliable enough just grease it every now & then!

i doubt the will be a near Opel dealer to you in Liberia then lol

your best bet is eBay try and get a seller to ship it internationally for you is it a V6?

if so GM UK List price for a belt is £25 on trade club for a genuine vauxhall belt  if its any use the 2.5/3.0 omega & vectra share the same belt aqslong as theyre a/c models
