Title: Traction Control
Post by: 3.0V6Elite on 15 May 2009, 20:46:18
Quick question; does anyone know how to disable/turn off the traction control on a mig. If it helps it's a 3.0 V6 Elite.  :)

Assuming that you have a TC button, thats easy.  If you don't have a TC button, you need to fit one...

As above, push the button that is marked "TC" which is located just to the right of the radio.

If you took your test in a matchbox car that made about as much horsepower as a Kenwood mixer, you might want to leave the switch where it is though.

Oh I see, I thought that if you pressed the TC button that it was permanently on, if you know what I mean, and not just when it was needed.  ::)

Does nobody ever read a manual?  ;) TC is ON by default, pressing the button switches it off & puts the warning lamp on the ON to alert you of the fact!  ;)  :y

I thought the same thing. Hit the TC button..a light comes on...SOOOOOOO I assumed that this meant that TC was turned on.

BUT No.  TC is on as default...If the TC light is on, on the dash then TC is OFF.

I had a little test....wet road, up hill, turned the tc off and floored it...
didn't move for 30 seconds or so...just spun on the spot...get new tyres today ???
