Title: Rear shocks

Hi all today i got my new pair of rear shocks for my estate but on the bottom of the shocks in the rubber there is a metal sleave in there and i now cant put the shocks on.Are they there for a reason or can i just heat the rubber up and get it out

Hi, You need to keep the metal sleeve in there, a bit of manipulation and it will go in.

So you mean you have left the 'sleeve' on from the old shocks you have taken off?

Dont understand what you mean, your new shocks will have a sleeve, the old one should come away with the shock

Oright i think i no what you mean.When i took off the old shock the metal sleeve stayed in place i didnt know that has to come off too.Is there a bolt i have to undo to get the metal peice out
