Title: Noisey Alternator

My alternator on my mig is making a whirring noise. It is still working fine but it is starting to get to me. I'm sure that I saw a how to guide on here not so long ago about this but can't seem to find it now, the only one I can find is the one in the how 2 section by Mark DTM. Does anyone have a link to it or know where I can find it?
