Just out of interest what is the general opinion on "Extralube zx1" as an oil additive (conflicting views when googled)
-
Personally, I wouldn't bother with additives.
Modern oils are of far superior quality to the 'old school' stuff, just use genuine Vx semi-synthetic of the correct grade, and you'll be fine.
It's currently very competitively priced too!

Snake oil! ;).......dont waste your money.

yep cant see any good , its abit like adding petrol additive to bp ultimate unleaded

I must assume then that this is like companies telling us if we have this drink or that pill once a day we will feel so much better and live longer...lol ;D

if you are driving the car for short journeys its better you change the oil in shorter intervals like 3500-4000 miles..this is better than using any expensive additive which looses its properties in some xxx milage..
in my personal experience the only additive which I get good results was this one
http://atvconnection.com/Features/Product_Reviews/Restore-Engine-Restorer.cfm
of which actually is not an oil additive..it restores the compression - to a degree- in old engines (for fathers car)..
