Title: exhaust issue (my bad)
Post by: nathans on 18 May 2009, 18:45:18
ok i brought a copy about 6 months ago (all i could afford at the time)
got a guy to fit it. but it still blows near the engine. need to get fixed for MOT
now my question:
would it be easier to fit the front part first and see if it blows where the four bolts by the engine and solve this first before fitting the rest.
or fit it all at once and hope it fits properly

i have had two people try this so far I havent done it myself yet
any advise welcome

Would a smoke bomb work, or do they contaminate things too much?

the blow is between the manifold and downpipe where there is four bolts holding them together
i have checked
and the gasket is there
