Hi all Got 2001 elite with the siemens 2013 buillt in. just wondered who makes the sat-nav disc looks like mine is a copy popped it out the cd drive for the 1st time and saw it was a recordable cd with 2002 written on it. Tried my old rover 2007 disc in just in case that worked lol did,nt but was worth a try. so any help be appreciated i have a tomtom but if the cd is cheapish always useful to have as back-up

Navteq. If you use a copied CD in the Nav drive it will trash the laser unit.
Try eBay.de for a genuine CD.

Yea i binned the copy same as my rover copies kill it i,ll check ebay ta for that :)
-
Yup, Navteq. From memory around £70ish.
Guessing your Rover used CARiN based one then (hardly surprising seeing as BMW set up most of Rover's supply chain, and they are big VDO Dayton users) - thats another to cross off the list :'(
-
And for the record, as I know someone will ask, NCDC2013 does NOT support TMC in the UK (but does in many other parts of Europe)

yup read bout none tmc and my rover one was navteq. Looked on flea-buy de there bout 170 euros so bit pricey i,ll stick with my tom tom and my book club 2009 phillips uk rd atlas lol. i,ll keep checking flea-buy in case used cd pops up at decent price
