Title: 4 Pot Crank Sensor?
Post by: tunnie on 21 May 2009, 20:28:19
Started the car this morning, almost immediately it cut out.

Spanner light blinking away, ignition off, and on it started OK.

Been fine since, thinking crank sensor could be on the way out? Never changed it before, cam sensor is genuine and 2 years old.

Not got any codes yet

Check the internals of your key !!! I had this on the old miggy... very intermittent, eventually found the little transponder chip was loose inside the key and was moving about whilst the key was in my pocket, so sometimes in the right place to work, other times not. A dab of superglue solved the problem ...:)

edit :    SNAP  :)
