Title: Incontinence
Post by: flymofred on 26 May 2009, 19:43:54
I have a leak from the front of my Omega. Thankfully it's screen wash and not the more expensive alternative anti-freeze. I have had a look but the bottle seems well hidden. Will I be needing to take the front bumper off, and if so where should I be looking for the fixings. It's a pre-facelift Elite with head-lamp washers

Thanks

Is it off to one side or central Martin?

Had the same problem recently. Take the front grill and number plate off. IF you are as lucky as me, I could see the leak and using a well placed finger I found the leak. Thereafter I used a bit of "seal anything type putty" from B&Q and the problem has gone away. Doesn't have to look too pretty because, as you said, no one can see the blinking thing in any event.

Good luck.

the leak is dead central I haven't used the washers recently, and it started after I did. Is it likely to be the washer loose in the washer bottle. The pump in my (whispers) mk2 golf gti just pushes into a grommet
