So, general query here....
How many miles do you get to a full tank of petrol, on average!?
Im sitting at around 340 miles, a fill of Super would be around the £60 mark at the minute....around 24mpg.
When i first got her, i managed 240miles to a tank....worked that out to be 16mpg....... 8-)
-
Slightly better, about 380 thats in a 2.2i petrol though
-
About 350 normal driving, 450 if I drive like my Mum.
Average 28mpg.
(3.0 V6)
-
I can get 370 but in kilometers :(

kinda makes you wonder why youd bother with a 4pot motor :P

Should be alright for cheap fuel though shouldn't you considering where you are? ::) ::)
-
400 ish (a very underpowered 2.0 :'( )
-
I done 3500 miles last 3 weeks most motorway driving 140km/h on criuse control 30.4 MPG :) 500 miles ish per tank :o :o
not bad for 6 pots car
-
400+
I drove Coventry to Reigate in 2 hrs this morning ~36mpg on the display. 50% of time on cruise at 70+ (M40) and 50% at 60 (M25)
-
Mostly motorway driving gently ~ 450 miles until the light comes on but often see 500 . Due to the way I claim expenses I keep a full record of all mileage, fuel etc so I can say that over the last 6 months:
Average fuel consumption 29.5 MPG
Best From 1 tank 33.86MPG
Worst from 1 tank 22.95 MPG
Total Fuel 2415 Litres
Average price 93.39
Lowest Price 85.90
Highest Price 97.90

im not too far away from some of these figures....it would appear an LSD and modifed exhaust system do the mpg no good!
still in my defence NI only has 100 miles of proper motorway, if even, and i only use about 40 miles of it! im mostly in around town or on B roads
-
My mig is a 2.5 V6. I get about 24mpg around town. 30mpg on a trip.
I'm sure you will enjoy your omega.
Regards
Jim :y

ive had 150 miles to 75Litres Full tank before
i usually achieve about 250 to a tank normally buty i dont drive economically atall

Get about 280-340 miles from a full tank, well the mrs. does.
-

Had about 560 miles from a full tank pottering around town and about 5 motorway trips all doing the speed limit of course ::)
10 quid from the fuel light being on gives me 160 miles :y
-
350 miles & that was full to the neck >:( >:( >:(couldnt get anymore in and its a 2.5 Diesel automatic ....no wonder im changing it to manual its doing my head in
-
alrite all i travel to minehead every wkend from the lovely place called walsall, anyway its a 146 mile each way trip and i have done it on 35 quid of petrol, that aint to bad at all is it my friends
-
Cant say as never run on petrol, £30 of LPG= 240 round town, 350+ on motorway runs. Best average I have seen is 34 mpg over a long steady run.
-
per week: around £60 to fill up my 3.0 v6 elite, i get around 430 miles out of a tank, mrs ilovemyelite accelerates a little more conservatively so on a straight week of her driving we're looking nearer 450 - 480. she seems to think this 'proves she's a better driver', thus slower = better. ha! the poor misguided fool...
-
new record there for me....380 lol!
-
Well if I watch how I'm driving the most I was able to get with a single tank on an open road was over 650 miles with a full tank.
Car is 2.2 petrol.
Combined driving gets me around 440 to 450 miles thought
-
Max ever from mine 2.5 V6 auto is 425 from a tank (from London to Bolton and most of the return leg) - but only once.
Usually 365 - 385 long journies.
The trip computor tells me between 26 - 30mpg variously
Matthew

Im lucky to see 300 to a full tank in the MV6 ;D
-
I am the record holder. :P
2.5 V6 auto, filled to the neck - 602 miles to a tank, before chugging out ;D
Worked out at over 40mpg - and it was all 52mph motorway grandad work.
Second best to this, was my 3.0 Auto Estate Elite Facelift - which now lives north of the border. I did a 70/80mph run in this, and got over 500 miles to a tank.
My current 2.5 auto estate, with 3.0 cams, has just returned 33mpg on a motorway run, with 4 people, 2 dogs, a large full roofbox, and a trailer.
They are economical on a run and awful around town :y
-
update to mine, went to yarmouth at the weekend and drove around norfolk and home again returned 485 to the tank at a steady 65mph
-
most of my driving is <5 mile trips round town, not light footed, and tend to get about 300 to a tank
-
Best so far is 440 from my 3.0 Elite, that's until the fuel light comes on though - I'm not brave enough to explore how many miles you can drive with the light on! That was over 2 or 3 days on M25, M3 and A12 with one mahoosive traffic jam thrown in so I'm hoping I'll get over 450 when I take it to France in a week's time.
-

In My Elite the low fuel light comes on with around 8 litres left, then the low fuel warning (fuel low light starts to flash) comes in with about 4 litres remaining
-
I can get 370 but in kilometers :(
at least petrol in the middle east is super cheap!!
