Title: Best brake pads
Post by: markh1 on 28 May 2009, 10:20:57
I am just about to order some new front pads. Please could someone tell me the best pads you can get.

I am not after ones that take a while to get upto temperature, rather ones that work well from the off.

Cheers,
Mark

Most of us stick to the genuine vauxhall ones,

good performace at a good price.

Are you after something better?

dont think there is an ideal EBC for omega, the Red take time to warm up, and the green are too soft for a heavy car.

New vx disks, pads and fluid often transform the braking for a lot of people.

Std Vx pads for road use are good.  Still possible to knacker them by driving like an idiot through places like Milton Keynes (apparently ::)), but that is unusual
