Title: Shake Rattle & Roll
Post by: Gareth Lewis on 29 May 2009, 23:17:43
Today the Omega was vibrating like mad between 55 - 75 but was not so pronounced over 75. Vibration is through the steering wheel and if I put my hand on the auto gear knob I can feel it there as well.

Therefore took to have the wheels balanced today. Slight improvement but I'm afraid vibration is still there.

What do I try next?  :-/

Driving to Worcester and back tomorrow - I'll be a jibbering wreck by the time I get home :o :o

on the pas. side, jack up the front wheel and try to waggel the bar up and down, it should not move.

Jack up the l/h side and have someone watch the steering idler whilst you wiggle the wheel horizontally (3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions). There should be no vertical movement of the idler.
