This is rather silly, but how on earth do you check & top up the auto tranny fluid?

Hi, I think there is a how to on here, but you make sure the car is level, start the engine and then top it up until it is full. There is no way to check how much is in other than that.

You're right ... it's more than silly! It's a stupid idea! The level can only be checked using the fill/level plug on the right hand side of the sump. Engine running & gearbox up to temp when checked!

In other words you need a pit, otherwise it's a pain in the bum. Is the tranny fluid covered in the warnings on the display though?

You can do it on a level drive using axle stands & ramps .....

Unfotunately is not something covered by level sensors via the display. It's something worthwhile doing though.  :y
