Title: Power steering issue
Post by: rancido64 on 02 June 2009, 08:22:34
Hey again all ;) (I'll stop making topics for the day after this one lol)

My power steering only works when i'm in gear and accelerating. Needless to say, in a car that weighs as much as an omega, this makes parking a bit of a nuisance at times lol
There is enough fluid in the system, so it's not that.

Is this a common fault, and what can i do about it?

Thanks,
Phil

Change the pump for a 'new' one! :y There's a how-2-do for a V6, I don't know, but a 4 pot can't be much different.
