Title: Outside Temp Accuracy
Post by: Proz on 04 June 2009, 21:16:40
Hi
Not a fault as such but how accurate is the outside temp sensor .... just been out for a run and it was ranging between 8.5 and 10.0 degrees .... i didnt think it was that cold  :-? , i had to replace it last year when it showed "F" so its not that old ... was a genuine sensor from Vx .
Thanks

Well from my experience it was pretty accurate, but if you were driving I suppose it could show a few degrees lower than it really was (but only a few)

Mine was showing 9.5 degrees this morning and has now risen to a balmy 12 degrees so methinks your temp gauge is working accurately :y

All 3 of my Omegas have been pretty accurate compared to the thermometer in the shade.  They tend to read high if sat in carpark all day, but soon drop to more accurate once on the move.
