Morning people, i am looking to remove the motor from my 2001 omega as it's being scrapped.. Has anyone on here taken out the motor before and if so was it a straight forward job any advice or is it not worth bothering and leave it with the shell and let them take it??
Any help apreciated
Mick.

whats up with the rest of the car ? you might be able to sell some parts on here .

What's the reason for removal? Depending on what the rest of the car is like, you could always remove it like they do at the breakers/scrap yards ie cut through the slam panel & drag the engine forward & out. Is the engine intended for use anyhere else or to just sell on? :y

It took a bump to the front we have all the new parts but not the time and now nor the room to keep it..Black 2.2 cdx auto 52k on it..have taken the leather interior out as its mint and put it in the loft along with the lights etc etc..open to offers on anything..will be going to the scrap yard soon with the doors boot bonnet all glass etc in place..has spotless alloys but no locking nut key so looks like they are going too as havnt the time to mess about with it.
