Title: 2.2 diesel tuning

Im trying to find out any tuning possibilities for the 2.2 diesel. I find the engine very steppy and unresponsive on throttle.

Just pm The Boy. He should be able to sort you out a chip at a fraction of the "Tuning shop" prices.
More oomph...and more mpg  :y

That's because it's a lawnmower engine in a big old barge  :y

Ahh right. I was thinking you thought the fuel consumption would increase along with the oomph.
The oomph goes up and the consumption goes down. Happy days  :y

surely the DTi being a modern-ish engine is just remappable and doesnt require chipping like the old 2.5.....

Hmm...dunno, but The Boy knows a man that can on both chipping and re-mapping  :y

correct 2.2 dti is remap, we can do it but you have to get the car to Oxfordshire!! will be back there is a week or so so will confirm i you like? :y
