Title: Horrible looking trim
Post by: ARH1 on 16 June 2009, 12:10:22
Hi Folks,
Gotta mig 2.5 v6 estate with black trim. Trim is peeling and scratched and doesnt look very good espec round gearlever and door switches? What would it look like if I removed the coating (g/lever trim looks to have brown surface under black coating). Would a wooden trim set from another mig fit to the estate? If so any Idea of cost? Or could I have the affected trim recoated?Or how much to replace the black trim as a set? Just want the motor to look good.
Many thanks

Got the same issues, especially with the internal door hadle on both sides. Cant seem to track down new ones. Common issue on Vectra with parts on the bay. Will keep any eye on your post.
