Title: FAULTY SPEEDO/REV COUNTER

HI!CAN ANYONE HELP ME?BOTH SPEEDO AND REV-COUNTER KEEP FAILING AT THE SAME TIME,WORK FINE FOR A WHILE THEN FAIL AGAIN!MODEL IS 1999 T PLATED 3.0 ELITE.THANKS.

What about other gauges dials & warning lamps? It might just be your dash isn't seated properly.  :-/  :y

does your steering get heavy too ?? sounds like abs ecu failing  :(

I was trying to go though the cheap/easy things first before I hit him with the ABS ECU failure possiblity!  ;)  ;)  :y  :y  :y You get TC light too IIRC with a failing ECU

Never had rev counter issues when abs ecu went on Estate.  Had abs & tc lights on, no speedo and heavy steering.  Rev counter worked ok.

Sounds like a dodgy connection on the clocks ... try pushing firmly right in the middle of the instrument panel, it might reseat the connection.
