'The Book' only lists one cam sensor for a 2.2......which is the number already quoted  :y

my meega is def a Z22XE its also on the barcode sticker on the cambelt cover.

TB has provided me with the part number of the cam sensor for Z22XE i am going to replace my non vauxh sensor with a genuine vaux part, hopefully that will do the trick!

That part did say X22 or Y22 engine. Z22 engine is not mentioned against Omega in EPC...

That is the only 2.2 cam sensor list for Omega though...

What is the symptoms of faulty camshaft sensor?

My Omega 2.2 Auto is spluttering and backfiring when it starts cold. After a few mins ticks over nicely at 1000 revs. Slight lack of power out on road though.

Thoughts??

By the way, I had it plugged in at the local dealer and the following codes came up

P0170 Fuel Correction (bank1 malfunction)
P0036 Oxygen Sensor Heater (bank 1 sensor 2)
P0700 Transmission Control System
P0650 Malfunction Indicator Control Circuit
P0141 02 Sensor Heater Circuit (bank 1 sensor 2)

They said it was the post cat lambda sensor at fault. I replaced it and the problems still there!

HELP!
