After Weeks of Stressing about the Miggie - Garage Called to say that she had passed.
Yet the exhaust in my view was fubar - end pipe on the back box is rusted but not blowing
Funny thing is, to days day out to Bournemouth and the pipe dropped and she sounded more like a race exhaust.... got home and popped back in situe

Well done for your MOT.
Play in steering could be steering idler arm or ball joints on there way out. I would say its the idler arm.
rear diff oily might be a seal or the seal on the filler bolt is knackered.

Top up the diff oil and it should be ok.
My diff is quite oily. Nothing dripping, so I topped it up last year and when I checked it last month it was at the right level after one and a half pumps of the oil dispenser.
I suspect a non-oily dif on a Mig is a rare sight ;D
Inner edge tyre wear could be camber adjustment. Jack up the near side and wiggle the wheel at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions whilst someone watches the idler arm for vertical movement.
If no movement on the idler arm or anywhere else then get a full geometric done and the car will be a pleasure to drive and nice even tyre wear.
