Title: Non GM thermostat

I know genuine parts are best but I have bought a thermostat that Iwas told was GM but i'm not sure. so the question is is it likely to be ok or should I get anouther one from the stealers? :-/

As long as it fits OK, should be OK I would have thought. Genuine come with housing.
