Title: Smelly climate control

Wifey is complaining that the the 2.5TD has a strange musty smell when climate control is set to cooling.

Anyone seen this problem and have a fix?

Had that on my Astra t'other week, now it needs a re-gas! :-/

Saw a post quite recently (if someone can find it, they're a better man than I!) someone got it cleaned/ regassed for 39.99, i think. So pretty reasonable.  :)

I've used the Comma air con cleaner as mentioned in the above post. As mine had  a similar sort of strange aroma.  Recommend it  as it worked great for me and no smells since.   Al 8-) 8-)

Change the pollen filter for a nice sweet new one and give the car a blasting with an aircon disenfectant cleaner aerosol.  World of difference....   ;)
