Common issue with that bosch pump.

I think there are aftermarket mods to overcome it, also apparently chipping cures it

definatly an excuse to get it chipped then lol had it out there the night again and i took it down the road for a good thrash and got it up to heat. when i started it, it just about started and sat with a low idle and wouldnt let me rev it the after a few seconds the idle returned to normal i could rev away

anyone know why it would sit with a low idle when started and not rev for a few seconds?

he says sometimes it would just about start and do that and sometimes it wouldnt hardly start at all

Mine has hot start problem also, worse when there is under 20 litres of fuel, (2.5 Tractor) it is chipped and I run Millers power 4 sport in the diesel also..  New battery 2 years ago, new starter last year, I poured cold water over the FIP, still no improvement...   any ideas??
