Title: Strange noise
Post by: LFF64 on 06 July 2009, 06:12:00
Good morning all   :))
I have noticed the last couple of days when  I start the car there is a strange noise for about 20 seconds then it stops , I know its a fan but  I cant remember where or what it is  :y
The sound is very much like the sound you get over the radio when it is not suppressed correctly a sort of whirring noise .  :y

yep think so.  pretty easy to trace the pipes anyway.  Follow the metal pipes from the exhaust manifold up to the flxi rubber hose and the valve on top left near radiator.  then follow the inlet air from there.
