Hello Peeps, Can anybody tell me the location of the heater bypass valve,On a 2.2 4 pot.as I am loosing coolant.which appears to be dripping down from rear of engine,maybe below dis pack terminal socket :y

I have a very vague recolection they are easier accessed from underneath on the 2.2, not sure though

Would make sense, less in the way, and they are quite low down.
Easy to see, hard to get at from top.

hi repalced mine 2 weeks ago it is at the back of the engine on the drivers side it was hard to see on mine as the pipes where over the top of it. i did mine from the top. by removing header tank to give me room be aware of the pipe that runs from the clutch cylinder as that is a plasstic pipe and you will not want to break it ,

hi repalced mine 2 weeks ago it is at the back of the engine on the drivers side it was hard to see on mine as the pipes where over the top of it. i did mine from the top. by removing header tank to give me room be aware of the pipe that runs from the clutch cylinder as that is a plasstic pipe and you will not want to break it ,
shouldnt be an issue with an auto :y

whoops well spotted i meant the master brake cylinder

Thanks for all your input,h.b.v. now replaced,From above and underneath :y.Just off to Tesco to see if they sell replacement skin for my knuckles :'( :'( :)
