Title: Boot catch
Post by: Waglet on 11 July 2009, 19:38:53
Boot decided to pack up today. Looks like the mechanism that does the latching onto the loop that is fixed to bodywork has failed. The part number is 90457142. Where can I obtain one of these little monkeys and are they easy to change? Thanks

I had the same problem with my pre-facelift and got one off of one of the sellers on this Forum and was a 10 minute job to fit :y.

PS. That part# has changed to 90457255 BTW and if you don't have any luck getting hold of one I have another which i bought as a spare which you can have for £5 inc. P&P :).

Also I think you will find that Vectra's share the same catch if you go to a scrapyard :y
