Title: Code 19
Post by: gsizoli on 14 July 2009, 06:56:42
Hi!

My car didn't start 1 year ago, so I replaced the crank sensor (to a geniue one). The cables were aranged correctly, it was checked. Now I tried the paperclip test and I've got code 19. The car starts fine and runs fine.So why I've got code 19?Is it mean any problem? It sounds strange if it could be crank sensor again....I dont want to repalce in evry year.Is the code needed to erase from ECU, or cancelled automaticallay?

the code should auto delete.

I am having a similar issue with a 14 month old sensor, check out my crank sensor longevity thread  :y

I had a similar situation where I had a code 19... It appears mine was just a rare situation where it didn't automatically clear itself :o :o :( :(

Clear the code 19 with code reader/tech2 and then see if it comes back  ;)

OK, I will ask somebody to clean it, because I can't believe it if it fails so fast..
