Title: Escaped Chipmunk
Post by: Martin_1962 on 15 November 2007, 12:35:42
The little boy has escaped. He got out of the mail run into the doorway section, but could not get back.

I went in then a child screamed, panicked the chip and he scarpered.

Currently around our garden or next door, told the neighbours so the cats are out now >:(

If a cat kills our chipmunk next door will lose their cats >:(

Our cat would definitely agree - we are far too lazy, especially regarding feeding duty..

Use exploding carp!
Or try replacing your carp with a 250lb Wels Catfish ( which have been known to take swimming dogs) and it's goodnight Vienna Herons and cats :o

The mother in law has a 3 foot sturgeon in her pond, that has a similar effect, scares the crap out of cats and herons!

Ah, it's not just ours that's a total breakwit then.  ;D

Ours - sorry, Mrs. KW's seems to prefer to go out when it's persisting down with rain.

It's like a teenager in the morning trying to convince it to get up and stay in the kitchen so I can set the burglar alarm >:(

I keep warning her -  the canal's not that far away, I have a brick and a sack ready >:(

Kevin, the next time the cat winds you up you need to call the Samaritans. Don't do anything foolish. It's no use trying to make the cat feel guilty for the possible consequences of her actions.  ;) ;) ;D

I've often considered landmining the gardens, to remove any cats... or indeed children retrieving wayward footballs. I'll put signs up, so emergency services and postmen know not to tread on the grass...

It's not knowing what happened that's the hardest thing. We had a Guinea pig that disappeared one day (used to happily roam around the garden when we were out there, would never stray) then one day he was off. I suspect a Fox probably had him  :'(

Can certainly agree there,

When our cat went missing, did a leaflet post through all the doors in the road, next road.

Can't have been back an hour when the knock came,

Despite the bad luck, was good to be able to bring him home and know what had happened (heart attack probably)

More posters tonight, they are quite hardy little fellows.

Two of the rabbits are a bit viscious they are in seperate hutches.

Both are lops both tend to fight if they both get out.

Rabbits use their hind legs to rake other animals.

Both quite soppy with people
